Ellen founded TeleSearch, Incorporated in 1981 and put the firm on the map as one of the first to offer discount management recruitment services. After Fidelity Investments acquired TeleSearch in 1983, Ellen oversaw TeleSearch offices in Boston, New York, Chicago, and Washington, DC and in 1985 founded J. Robert Scott, a Fidelity subsidiary specializing in retained executive search for High Tech, Biotech, and Asset and Wealth Management industries. In 1988, Ellen founded The Kinlin Company, a full service boutique that works exclusively in Asset and Wealth Management. Beyond an excellent placement record and a roster of repeat clients, Ellen's leadership earned The Kinlin Company a place among the top 100 woman-led businesses selected by Babson College Center for Women's Leadership and the Commonwealth Institute.
