Description
Laura Lustig, Ph.D., L.M.F.T. President and founder of NLC, is a licensed psychologist and marriage and family therapist in practice for over 30 years. Her specialization includes working with young children and their families, as well as with families who have loved ones dealing with chronic mental handicaps. Dr. Lustig provides consultation to therapists, groups and organizations. She is a noted educator, author and speaker.
Victoria Katz, L.M.F.T. Has been a clinical affiliate at The New Learning Therapy Center for the past 15 years. She has extensive experience working with individuals, couples and families to help create shifts in their lives. Ms. Katz has a strong practice emphasis in working with teenagers and young adults who struggle with anxiety and depression. Examining family, academic and social challenges she has helped many teens manage their family relationships, friendships and negative self esteem.
The New Learning Therapy Center opened in 1994 under the direction of Laura Lustig , Ph.D., founder and president. Dr. Lustig's vision was to create a counseling center that served as a multi-service resource to the community. Our mission is to integrate the skills of our team of professionals in order to provide a uniquely coordinated program of mental health services. This collaborative approach allows us the flexibility to meet our client's needs throughout their lives.
Alyssa Kolesar, M.A. Earned her masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University and her BA in Biology from Lafayette College. Alyssa’s approach toward therapy is to create a safe environment for individuals, couples and families, as they navigate life’s challenges and adapt new solutions to existing problems.
