JAMES DANIELS is President / CEO of The Meeting Designers. A native of New Orleans, he received a Bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University and a Master’s degree from The University of Southern Mississippi. James began his career as a meeting planner with WorldTravel Meetings and Incentives and has worked for Radisson Hotels, Hilton National Sales, and Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. Prior to The Meeting Designers, James was Director of National Sales for Wyndham Hotels and Luxury Resorts. In his spare time, James is also a pageant coach for contestants competing in the Miss USA/Miss Universe Pageants. He resides in Manhattan Beach, California. Her experience includes a thirteen-year tenure as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Peppermill Casino Resort in Reno, Nevada. She was active with California Society of Association Executives, MPI, and she served on the Board of Directors for the American Marketing Association. A graduate of the University of Nevada at Reno, Carole also is one of the owners of the RoxyAnn Winery and Hillcrest Orchard in Medford, Oregon. KATHY BUCKLEY KEYS is Regional Vice President of The Meeting Designers. A native of Ireland, Kathy began her career as a sales manager at the Hilton Atlanta Airport and Towers and has worked for various hotels in Atlanta, San Francisco, and Hawaii. Prior to joining The Meeting Designers, Kathy was a national account manager for a site selection company based in Atlanta, where she worked with an array of clients and accounts throughout the nation. PENNY TILTON is Regional Vice President of The Meeting Designers. Penny has over 17-years experience in hotel operations, hotel sales, and convention and visitors bureau experience. Before joining the team, Penny was most recently with MGM Gaming. Prior positions held were with the Los Angeles Convention and Visitor’s Bureau (LAINC) as Director of Western Region Sales, The Beverly Hilton, The Millennium Biltmore, Doubletree, and Sheraton Hotels. Penny is very involved in MPI and various local charities. She resides in Reno, Nevada with her husband. A native of Southern California, Tami most recently was the Senior Project Manager at a full-service event management company where she was responsible for the fulfillment of meetings, incentives, and special events. Tami is a much sought-after wedding coordinator in Orange County and is active in various civic and community service organizations. She resides in Costa Mesa.
