Based out of Cincinnati, OH, The Modal Shop, is a PCB Group Company that manufactures electrodynamic shaker structural test products, calibration systems and non-destructive testing systems for a variety of industries from national test labs to the industrial floor. For a complete list of our calibration products as well as accompanying datasheets and spec sheets, visit our calibration web page at www.modalshop.com/calibration .

PCB Load & Torque, Inc., an ISO 9001 registered company, designs and manufactures high quality, precision torque transducers, electronic hand torque wrenches, load cells, OEM transducers, fastener torque-tension test systems, and wheel force transducers! We offer A2LA Accredited Calibration Services for torque, force, and related instrumentation! Our Threaded Fastener Testing Laboratory is also A2LA Accredited! Toll-free phone: 866-684-7107.

Our name was chosen to combine the science of "modal," or structural testing, and the full-service attitude of our "shop"-like organization. Our business is dedicated to help you test, model, and modify the dynamic behavior of structures and processes. We strive to provide the experimental testing community with a single source for all modal and test needs.

The TEDS option is available on several rental transducers. TEDS stands for Transducer Electronic Data Sheet and provides memory within a sensor with manufacturer name, sensor type, model number, serial number and calibration data. It is an approved IEEE standard (1451.4), and many data acquisition manufacturers include the ability to read TEDS sensors. Not sure if your DAQ has TEDS capability? No problem; TEDS sensors can be used alongside non-TEDS sensors with no issues; the TEDS memory is bypassed. Want more information? See our TEDS FAQ .
