Goal: To be a resource for exploring all music on the internet in any language (note the Universal translator on the top right of the page - try it, it's fun). This site, being a Wiki, is editable by anyone and we strongly encourage viewers to contribute what they know in order to make the site grow. So add a band, or add information to an artists page. No login or password needed (in some cases you will need to log in, this is to prevent vandalism. But you never have to login to add a band). About: TheMusicRevolution is a free, web-based, collaborative, music wiki encyclopedia project supported by The Music Revolution. Its band list is written collaboratively by volunteers around the world, and almost all of its articles can be edited by anyone with access to the site. TheMusicRevolution allows for the display of videos which accompany the artists pages, so you can see and hear what the band sounds like, making it a single reference point to find, research and discover all the worlds bands and musical artists. Philosophy: TheMusicRevolution believes in keeping things simple. You'll notice there are no blinking ads to interrupt your experience, floating ads, and most importantly No Sign Up form. We like to think of TheMusicRevolution as a sea of calm in an otherwise over-hyped, swimming-in-activity and overwhelming internet. Now think of all of the bands that will exist and now you have an inexhaustible source of music. The internet has become the magic drill bit that for the first time is able to drill down and tap this enormous source of past, present and future music. The Music Revolution is the refiner of this music; allowing for the organization of all the worlds bands to be listed in one hyper database - accessible to everyone. If your band, or your favorite band or artist is not listed, add them today (even if you don't have a lot of information - we will research the band/artist and add to their page). It takes less than 1 minute to add a band/artist.
