Phillips Collection Wins Amazing 2 ARTS Awards at the 25th Annual ARTS Award on Feb 4, 2014 at 10:34 am Phillips Collection was recognized with an amazing 2 ARTS Awards for both Top Accent Furniture Manufacturer and Product Designer of the Year (Mandy Shanahan) for 2014. At a gala event hosted in the Khmer Room at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas Texas, Phillips took home the win for the 25th Annual ARTS Awards. A company known for being on the forefront of design, Phillips Collection has become a prime resource for retailers and interior designs in both the residential and commercial markets.

Thai designer, Nuttapong Charoenkitivarakorn, designed the Seatbelt Chair as a part of a larger collection of work, entitled, "The Sculpture." The work was designed in 2005 and is hand-made in Thailand. Nuttapong works with influences important to modern Thai culture. In this instance, the Seatbelt Chair is made using scrap material from a local manufacturer by people in a local Thai village.
