The Photography Studio is Santa Fe's source for corporate photography, wedding photography, event coverage, portraits, product photography, digital manipulation, photo restoration, and theatrical photos. With their repeat business and their personal referrals, a loyal following of satisfied customers have been directly responsible for the consistent growth of The Photography Studio. Consequently, since it's opening day in 1986, it has been clear to us that the goodwill of our clients is our most valuable asset. We do everything possible to satisfy our customers. To scan the pages, click on the icons in the menu to the left. With a BFA in photography, Carolyn Wright has been a full-time photographer since 1978. She is highly skilled in all types of "people" photography, as well as technical "object" photography, retouching, digital manipulation, the art of archival restoration, and hand coloring. Carolyn's original background in fine art has allowed her to bring a new and creative eye to oft-photographed subjects, infusing each of her images with a visual power and unique individuality that captivates the unsuspecting viewer. Marlys is a talented photographer with 20 years in the photography business. Her experience covers color and black and white photography along with darkroom procedures and documentary projects including Single Fathers and Their Children, and Raves: 1999. She has had numerous exhibitions of her documentary and fine art photography. Recently, Marlys has added digital skills to her repertoir, and offers her creative expertrise in photographing events, weddings, studio/commercial products, and portraits. Barbara Lenihan has been a freelance photographer with photos featured in Owl magazine, Alaska magazine, Fodor's Guides, SF Visitor Guides, Guest Life New Mexico, and also annual New Mexico Cultural Affairs calendars. She has photographed several years for the Santa Fe Association of Realtors and was a major contributor of images to Windmills and Dreams, a history of the Eldorado Community. She loves working with people, she is also a highly skilled Black and White darkroom technician. Last, but far from least, many thanks to the folks behind the scenes who keep the photographers sane and the studio on its feet. In particular, love and gratitude to Beverly Little, who kept the paperwork flowing smoothly and infected us all with her calm cheerfulness for so many years, and is still lending a hand from a better place.
