Description

If you offer services in more than one location, you may want a multiple listing. This allows you to have your company listed in numerous locations. For example, if your primary place of business is Pennsylvania but you also do business in New Jersey and Delaware, your basic listing would be Pennsylvania and your Multiple Listings would be under New Jersey and Delaware.

One of the most difficult aspects of time management is controlling your day when others around you want to steal your time. Interruptions can eat up literally hours of precious, productive time each day. There are ways to discourage these interruptions without offending your co-workers, or family and friends, if you work from home. In a business environment where several people work in a restricted area, the tendency is to chitchat and gossip during the day, which is a great waste of productive time. There is a very simple solution to take control of this situation easily. You can be tactful but at the same time discourage socializing. When someone approaches your desk or sits down in your office and begins talking about anything but the work at hand, you could say, “I’m sorry (person’s name) but I am involved in (whatever you are doing) and (don’t want to lose my train of thought, or, have a tight deadline, or whatever is appropriate to what you are doing). Can it wait until later? Example: “I’m sorry Jim, but I am working on this report, which I must finish before the end of the day.

Recycle. Recycle file folders, plastic bags, paper. Recycle. Well, how about recycling useful information... you know, all that good stuff you have been accumulating in your head for years! Here are some tips to recycle YOUR organizing expertise to serve you and your organizing business as a marketing tool, a revenue source, or both. 1. Write out those organizing 'sound bites' you are forever telling your clients, audiences, family, friends, and anyone else who will listen to you. Once you write out those tips, organize them into the most likely categories for your organizing specialty. 2. Consider the different formats that manuscript could become. You can print it as a booklet, record it as an audio tape, develop it into daily reminder cards, use a tip per day on a calendar, just to name a few of the many possibilities. 3. Map out how you want to distribute each of the products you chose from the above list. Some will be handed out to promote your business. Others will become new direct sources of income. 4. Notice how the products balance out the service side of your business.

Organizational Coaching "…Catalyst For Success" According to the International Coach Federation, "Professional Coaching is an on-going partnership that helps clients produce fulfilling results in theri personal and professional lives. Through the process of coaching, clients deepen their learning, improve their performance, and enhance the quality of life. Beginning with the clients' desires, coaching uses reporting, exploring, and a consistent commitment to action to move the client forward. Coaching accelerates the clients' progress by providing greater focus and awareness of choice. Coaching concentrates on where clients are today and what they are willing to do to get where they want to be tomorrow." As a organizational and time management coach for adults with A.D.D., I define coaching as the catalyst for success. Discovery is the first word that comes to mind whenever I think of my profession. I truly believe that we all have within us, what we need, to live rich and fulfilling lives, and as a coach, I help individuals discover this. Coaching is a process of learning by inquiry, not by consultation.
