JOHN BUFFETT, Baritone, originally from Ohio, has established himself as a versatile musician specializing in repertoire from Monteverdi and Bach to Puccini and Sondheim. Praised by the Salt Lake Tribune for his “warm tone and ringing top notes”, Mr. Buffett has sung with the Symphonies of Utah, San Antonio and Syracuse, the Rochester Philharmonic, Apollo’s Fire, the Mark Morris Dance Group, Seraphic Fire and Ars Lyrica.

A passionate advocate for music education, Habermann has worked with young singers and conductors in honor choirs, master classes, and workshops throughout the United States and abroad. He is currently an adjunct faculty member at the University of North Texas College of Music, and continues to encourage the next generations of choral musicians.

Born in San Francisco, Deke Sharon has been performing professionally since eight years old, and as a child toured North America and shared the stage in operas with the likes of Pavarotti. He is heralded as “The father of contemporary a cappella,” having created, in college, the dense vocal-instrumental sound of modern a cappella, and taking it to the world.

DANIEL WEIDLEIN, bass, is a singer, composer, producer, and saxophonist originally hailing from Boulder, Colorado and now based in Los Angeles. His career has stretched across many genres and avenues in the music industry from work as a jazz instrumentalist, a multi-genre producer, a composer for musicals and film, and a bass singer. He has been featured on television shows such as The Sing Off (Season 3) and Glee, and his performance credits include shows with Joshua Redman, Bob Mintzer, John Daversa, M-Pact, Kinfolk 9, and many others.

LOREN BATTLEY, soprano, is an award-winning jazz vocalist and composer whose artistry was cultivated in Downey, CA. Her early exposure to gospel, jazz, R&B and pop contributes to her unique singing and song writing style. With and Associate of Professional Music degree from the world renowned School for Music Vocations and a Bachelor of Jazz Studies degree from Western Michigan University, Loren has been a member of Downbeat award winning groups such as First Take, Mas Que Nada and Gold Company.
