With over sixty years in the business, our family has a proven track record of success. The Sausage Factory produces one of the highest quality products on the market today. We are a company with integrity; starting with our family, all the way through our employees down to every product we manufacture.

His son Luciano brought those secret family recipes to America in 1946, when he founded Ideal Sausage Factory in South Hackensack, New Jersey. When my father, Alcide came on board, the East Coast family business boomed. In 1968, Alcide Tonino fell in love with Northern Nevada and began The Sausage Factory here in Carson City. As a third generation Tonino butcher, it is my privilege to carry on the family traditions. We continue to hand-craft Italian delicacies and American favorites in the time-honored fashion, using only the finest cuts of meat.

Our family’s traditional Italian recipe dates back three generations. Hand crafted with the highest quality lean cuts of pork, our fresh Italian sausages are seasoned to perfection with fennel seeds, anise, salt and black pepper. We never use by-products in any of our products.
