The legacy of the Lansdowne Club began in 1958 and now stands as Lexington's oldest membership club. The concept began with the developers of the Lansdowne subdivision, C. B. McEachin and J. W. Davis, Jr. Their original vision was to draw potential homeowners to the subdivision by promoting the benefits provided by the club. In 1999, the club was purchased by Bill Varney and remained under his ownership for the next six years. At the end of this time, the buildings were in great need of repair and it looked as if the club would have to close.

The Grand Ballroom is the premier local venue for celebrating your special day, providing an elegant atmosphere rarely rivaled in Central Kentucky. This banquet hall is one of the most versatile and flexible reception venues in our area. Our staff will be more than happy to assist you in answering any questions that you might have about our property or leasing our facility.

The 114-foot waterslide is one of the most popular activities at the pool for both children (minimum of 48" tall) and adults. This slide is the only one of its kind in Lexington and is sure to provide hours of entertainment for children of all ages. A summer day at the Signature Club pool is just not complete until you’ve taken your turn on the waterslide!

The Signature Club Grand Ballroom has something for everyone; our meeting venue is available for corporate meetings of all sizes, fundraisers, educational seminars, reunions, celebration parties, wedding rehearsals or rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, birthday or anniversary events, and so much more.
