We deal with a varied mix of home builders and remodelers. Our approach with contractors is to develop a long term association with their customers so when the contractor moves on to their next job, we have a direct contact or link with the ultimate user of our product. We encourage interaction with the homeowner during the selection of the appliance. With so many choices of units, we strive to help people achieve performance expectations by thorough questioning of desired goals.

We invite folks to our store to discuss their needs and explain their options. Customers can view over 75 wood, gas, and pellet burning stoves, fireplaces, and inserts. These units are displayed in a tastefully created home setting. We discuss fuel options, heating requirements, decor preferences, appliance choices, and of course budget concerns. We then educate our clients on the virtues of appropriate equipment. If there are any further concerns about sizing, or installation we then offer a free in home evaluation. Any product we sell can provide service and warranty work if necessary.

I like all the above but really like that I was sure I had heat, there would not be any interruptions of fuel, it was sitting out there in my woodshed---what a security blanket! At the personal level I have had a continued exercise plan in place for over 35 years, and I have felt a strong sense of patriotism knowing that I have contributed in a positive way to society. So burning wood has been all pluses for me! Now I have one more tidbit for you to ponder. Over the last 33 years The Stovery has helped countless families with their heating needs.

For over 35 years now~ from day 1, May 17, 1977 we have been “green” retailers. Selling ~ Installing ~ Servicing Bio-Fuel heating appliances. We have been “green” Long before it was politically correct!

In 35 years, our mission statement has not changed ~ Just redefined. To meet today’s Economic conditions, we have reshaped The Stovery and its operations from the top to the bottom. Cutting costs, improving services and of course, bringing in more cost competitive and better quality products.
