The letters FRICS represent a prestigious RICS award that reflects the career achievements of a special group of property professionals. Typically, Fellows are leaders in their field who have completed unique projects and contributed to the profession. RICS is the leading member organization in the world for professionals in property valuation, business valuation, real estate, land, construction and related disciplines. Membership comprises more than 140,000 individuals. Members operate in 146 countries. The RICS designation represents the highest standards of professionalism and conduct through maintaining and promoting the usefulness of the profession for the public advantage. January 18, 2010: The Trice Group is pleased to announce that Jodi Pries has joined the firm as a Staff Appraiser. Jodi is a Certified General Appraiser licensed in Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. Her education includes a Bachelors Degree from Auburn University and an MBA from Wilmington University. She is also enrolled in the Masters of Real Estate program at Johns Hopkins University. Jodi formerly worked for Mid Atlantic Farm Credit and developed significant expertise in agricultural valuation throughout the Delmarva Peninsula. The Trice Group is a regional provider of both commercial and residential valuation services in the Mid Atlantic area, with diverse experience in property and assignment types. September 1, 2009: The Trice Group is pleased to announce that Kristina Clark has been awarded the MAI Designation by the Appraisal Institute. March 30, 2009: Leland Trice was featured in the most recent issue of Valuation magazine, which is published by the Appraisal Institute. The article focused on the upcoming Home Valuation Code of Conduct - or HVCC - which affects all loans sold to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac after May 1, 2009. A copy of this article can be viewed here. March 26, 2009: Leland Trice participated in a continuing education seminar sponsored by the Coastal Association of Realtors that highlighted industry changes with mortgage financing. This seminar was attended by approximately 450 real estate industry members. The panelists were distinguished in their respective fields with over 25 years each of experience.
