Our other customers include schools, hospitals, manufacturing plants and offices. We have over twelve hundred vending machines on the street and have been in business in the Savannah, GA area for over twenty-five years. Personnel: Names, Experience and Qualifications Robin S. Rawls Owner Mr. Rawls attended Stetson University beginning in 1974 and began work for Tom’ Foods Inc in 1978 right out of college. After a year in a management-training program Mr. Rawls was promoted to District Vending Manager and moved quickly up the corporate ladder. Mr. Rawls spent ten years as a Director of Vending (Regional) for Tom’s Foods Incorporated before purchasing the local Savannah, Georgia Tom’s Distributorship. He was responsible for the development and operation of Vending branches in Orlando, New Orleans, Dallas/Fort Worth, Atlanta, Chicago and Birmingham, Alabama. Mr. Rawls wrote portions of the vending training manuals used by Tom’s Foods and these manuals are still in use today. Mr. Rawls purchased Rawls Distributing Company in 1985 and it has grown to be the largest snack company in the area. Rawls Distributing Company operates twelve routes. Mr. Rawls celebrated his twenty- seventh anniversary in the business in 2005. Rawls Distributing Company is now a Full Line Company offering products from every snack and drink manufacturer. Carter R. Caine Jr. Mr. Caine is Vice President/Service Department for Rawls Distributing Company and has thirty-five years experience in repair and installation of vending equipment. He supervises a repair staff and is the only National Automatic Merchandising Association certified mechanic within one hundred miles of Savannah. He has been with our company since its beginning. Tina B. Langston Mrs. Langston is the Comptroller for Rawls Distributing Company and has been with the company for sixteen years. She handles all billing, customer complaints and questions, commissions and operates our Hand Held computer training. She has eighteen years experience in computer generated accounting and reporting and is responsible for supervising our money room and counting procedures. Mrs. Langston makes all purchasing decisions for Rawls Distributing Company. Mary Vandiver Mrs. Vandiver had nine years of experience as a Route salesperson before being promoted to Service Supervisor four years ago. Mrs. Vandiver is responsible for equipment being delivered correctly and being maintained in the best working condition. She will work with your account to insure the least amount of elapsed time in responding to service calls. Mary handles scheduling of repair calls and equipment orders.
