The Wolcott Group LLC was founded in 1998. We are a well capitalized private equity real estate investment company that has specialized in acquiring real estate secured loans for more than 10 years. We target off-the-run investment opportunities where there are complex underlying issues or the existing capital structure is impairing the value of the real estate or loan. Our investments are frequently time sensitive and usually require all equity capital.

Prior to joining TWG, Ms. Wasserman was a Senior Manager in the Chicago office of CBIZ, Inc. and Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. (formerly Philip Rootberg & Company, LLP), an accounting firm specializing in various aspects of the real estate industry. As a manager for more than ten years in the attestation and auditing department, Ms. Wasserman provided financial, tax, and business consulting services to partnerships, corporations, and individuals. Ms. Wasserman's primary clients included home builders and other real estate developers, commodity traders, health clubs, and property management companies. Ms. Wasserman received her Bachelor's degree in accounting, summa cum laude , from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois.

We specialize in acquiring real estate secured assets. We invest throughout the capital structure and across a broad spectrum of real estate asset classes.

Continuing investment analysis enables us to adjust quickly to changing circumstances and to take immediate advantage of current market conditions. Our exit strategies are carefully planned for flexibility and designed to maximize yields by taking advantage of the loan terms and the dynamics of the situations causing distress.
