All thermometers are not the same! You need the right instrument and the right sensor for your job. And your job isn’t necessarily the same as the next guy’s. Safety and quality depend on accurate temperature measurement but cost, durability, and productivity are important too. We think most people want dependable advice but it’s got to come from cooperative people that listen to what you need.If you need a thermometer and you call a local, general products distributor; you’re not likely to get very useful advice. They’ll probably say: “We carry whatever you need. We’ve got a $10 thermometer, a $20 thermometer, a $100 thermometer and a $200 thermometer. Which one do you want?” Others will tell you exactly what they think you need because that’s what they sell to everybody else. Our experience shows that two customers doing the same job might have completely contradictory preferences.
