TCS's staff of economists have worked for McGraw-Hill/Data Resources Inc.'s (DRI) Cost Information Service; DRI's Macroeconomics group; Cahners Economics' manufacturing, electronics and constructions groups; and the MAXIMA Corporation. Their staff has also had extensive experience in business reporting and has contributed articles to Purchasing, Logistics Management and Distribution Report, Electronic Buyers News, Electronic Business, Plant Engineering, Modern Materials Handling and other trade magazines.

The two principals, Victor Maliar and Elizabeth Baatz, together have more than 30 years of experience in business economics. As the economics editor for an electronics industry trade journal, Ms. Baatz created the Electronic Business Leading Indicator and was responsible for translating economics into business action for readers. She is now the Executive Editor of the ICE-Alert report.
