Thompson + Gus= ThogusThogus Products Company began life as Master Mold & Die in 1950. Founders Jack Thompson and Walter Gus quickly established a name for themselves in the mold and die industry, operating as a tool and die shop specializing in building molds for the developing plastics industry. In 1958, Thompson and Gus realized they had moved beyond a simple tool and die shop. They formed Thogus Products, and molded the first nylon and polyethylene plastic tube and hose fittings.
