jdthompson@socket.net After serving Central Missouri through my architectural firm, Thompson / Architecture, over the past twelve years and after practicing architecture for over forty-two years, time has come to concentrate less on architecture and more on other endeavors, including art. I still paint with the Columbia Palette, a group of 8-10 other painters, on Wednesday mornings in and around Columbia, Missouri, and we exhibit in Columbia and surrounding communities. I have taught a few watercolor workshops for the Columbia Art League and sketching classes for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in Columbia. Columbia Palette and I have a continuing exhibit of our work at their Columbia offices.
