Tamara has 23 years of accounting experience in both the private and public accounting sectors. She has extensive experience in corporate accounting, individual accounting, audit, financial reporting, and taxation. Tamara's skills are concentrated in audits primarily, followed closely are reviews, tax preparation, financial statements, and tax services. She is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Tamara is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She became a partner with the Firm in 2013. Tamara manages, and is based in our Wise, Virginia location. Tamara lives in Norton, Virginia. She enjoys spending time with her family, church, traveling and has a passion for the performing arts.

Thrower, Sr., in 1948 in Norton, Virginia. Monroe was joined by his son, the late M. Bardin Thrower, Jr., in 1972 when the firm became known as Thrower & Thrower, P.C. The firm continued to operate and flourish, and the name was later changed to Thrower, Blanton & associates, P.C., with the addition of Mr. Brian K.
