Description
After a career as an advertising illustrator and designer, Cathy started her own business, Meadow Crest Studios, Inc. She designed and manufactured a nationally represented line of gift and dinner ware. She worked with designers and architects in Texas to create original, award winning custom tile murals – work which has been featured on the cover of Veranda Magazine and in articles in Better Homes and Gardens , Southern Living and Architectural Digest.
I have been enameling for over 30 years. My enamels have been accepted in national as well as international exhibits. I am currently teaching private students and I also teach a class at John C. Campbell Folk School in North Carolina. Most of my work is done in the cloisonné technique however I enjoy other forms of enameling as well.
