Philip has over fifteen years experience in complex sales and business development. At TopQuadrant, Philip is responsible for all direct and channel sales and partner relations. Philip was TopQuadrant's Project Manager for its largest project, developing a semantic ecosystem for Norwegian Continental Shelf oil & gas compliance and reporting. Philip also handles all legal matters for TopQuadrant, serving as the primary negotiator and scribe for all contractual transactions. Prior to joining TopQuadrant, Philip was the President of Renomics, a BAE Systems funded start-up for over 3 years.

TopQuadrant is a privately held company established in 2001. Our US offices are Raleigh, NC, our UK company is based in London, and our clients are located primarily throughout the US and in Europe.

TopBraid packages a stack of technologies that provide a complete solution platform for building services and applications that operate on Linked Data. The platform builds on RDF data model and SPARQL, the query language for RDF. It turns SPARQL into an extremely powerful tool for specifying business rules, describing user interfaces, providing web services and more.

TopQuadrant is providing a full range of services to enable customers to build a new generation of more flexible and powerful enterprise solutions based on the W3C semantic standards.

Dr. Mead has a Masters in Computer Science and is a trained physician who spent 10 years in clinical practice. He has over 35 years of experience in healthcare and life sciences informatics and thus brings several decades of hands-on experience in both commercial and government-based healthcare-centric, standards-aware software development.
