Dr. Shuman is a graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis. He has extensive experience in small animal, large animal and laboratory animal medicine and has more than 15 years of experience working with USDA registered research facilities. He owns and operates the Westside Animal Hospital in Santa Cruz, California.

Tosk was founded to discover and develop new drugs for cancer and other conditions using non-mammalian animal species as models for human diseases. These efforts evolved into a proprietary drug discovery platform that uses the common fruit fly ( Drosophila melanogaster ) as a tool to discover new drugs. The Company uses one application of this technology, known as OMD™ for Optimizing Marketed Drugs™, to discover agents that reduce or eliminate the adverse effects of existing drugs.

Mr. Crow is a retired pharmaceutical and life science executive with extensive experience in general management, product development, business development, sales and marketing.
