With a constant client dialogue Total Entertainment Technologies can design, specify install, and provide the best equipment and services available. We will always take into account the client's budget, space requirements, product level, ascetic needs, project complexity, and scope of each installation, event or wedding we provide. To provide our client's a comprehensive solution to their needs for every eventuality is our goal. Total Entertainment Technologies will always put the communication and information dialogue with our clientâ??s at the forefront of each system, event, production and effect we design.

Tom and Total Entertainment Technologies are in the middle of their 16th year in business and Tom is in the 38th year working within the entertainment industry. He began his entertainment career working on freelance theatre projects, technical direction duties, and scenic & lighting designs in various venues during his high school early college years. Tom did three years of college majoring in technical theatre with many technical disciplines being studied and honed. He started his first professional assignment out of college as Technical Director, Lighting Designer and Production Coordinator for the Lincoln Community Playhouse from 1983 through 1993. He then worked for two other Sound/Lighting installation firms from 1993 until June of 1996 when he started CDS, Inc. and then CDS, Inc. & Total Entertainment Technologies here in Lincoln, Nebraska.

CDS, Inc. and Total Entertainment Technologies can provide repair and service to many of your Audio, Lighting, Video, Rigging, and Component Systems. We have a long history in all of these industries and can provide service and repair options to keep them functioning until upgrade or replacement can be made. Much of the older technologies are not supported by manufacturers and companies anymore and we have done our best to assist with repair and support of these older systems for our clients and keep these older units running if at all possible. In our many years in the business we seen a good amount of different systems and technologies that give us a unique repair knowledge-base to bring to the table that many companies have either abandoned or not even used. With that knowledge we are in the best position to help with repair recommendations or upgrades if needed, compared to a full system replacement.

Total Entertainment Technologies is your local source to provide a large range of entertainment rental items from the small event to the large concert to a full theatrical production. Equipment items range from lighting, audio, and video to special effects along with scenery, staging, curtains/tracking, fabrics, cycs/scrims, and Pipe & Drape configurations. We have listed our rental pricing in a day/week /month layout to better help you plan for the rental cost within your budget. Package and entire project pricing is always available and there are many levels of support and options we can provide so please donâ??t hesitate to call or write us with your specific needs and we will do all we can to work with you to fit your vision. Although we have a wide selection of equipment available, you might not see exactly what you need. So we have many other equipment sources we can cross-rent from to fulfill your special request. We have a motto of sorts that states our philosophy â??Anything â?? Anytime - Anywhereâ? and we constantly strive to achieve that goal.
