Description

The VH Dissector provides 3D visualizations and cross sections of photographic anatomy from the Visible Human Project ®. With over 2000 identified structures, this unique program provides the ability to approach the human body from any combination of traditional views, including cross sectional, systemic, clinical, surface, regional and surgical anatomy. The Virtual Edge is a dissection/prosection guide, which leads students through the complex study of human gross anatomy using the VH Dissector. The Virtual Edge combines the light-hearted presentation style Mark B. Frasier has used to inspire students at Colorado State University for the past 15 years with the classical artwork, line drawings, and unique artistic enhancements of Visible Human anatomy provided by medical illustrator F. D. Giddings.
