Touchpoint was started in 2000 by business partners Steve Shearman and Frank Van der Velden after the successful sale of, WebMasters, a web services firm which they founded in 1995. Chief Executive Officer Frank has over 20 years experience as investor and chief executive of technology companies including long established companies requiring re-focusing and start-ups. Franks' career was founded in the corporate world of liquor in New Zealand and the oil industry in both the UK and New Zealand. He is a chartered accountant and member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. Frank is also a member of the Business Reference Group advising the New Zealand Government on Procurement Reform.
