Tour West has been providing white water rafting trips on the rivers throughout the West for over 40 years. While many things have changed in the river running business, our philosophy has remained the same. A river trip is more than a vacation, it is an experience. Very few people go on a river trip and come back unchanged. We feel fortunate to be able to be a part of that experience.

The food on the Salmon is excellent. We provide three hearty meals per day. We also provide snacks during the day and at night. Fresh fruits and vegetables are a part of every meal. We can accommodate people with specific dietary needs.

We provide all necessary camping equipment. This includes a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, waterproof duffel bag, small waterproof day bag, tent and a cot (Only on motor trips). Some important items you may want to bring are a two piece rain-suit, a wide brimmed hat to protect you from the sun, sunscreen, and a pillow. It is ok to bring along a 35-mm camera. We provide an ammo can to put your camera in, but also suggest you have a waterproof case to insure its safety. For smaller cameras ziplock bags work well. The ammo cans are water-resistant not waterproof.

We feel that our food is the finest on the river. We provide three well-balanced meals each day, with fresh fruits and vegetables with each meal. Candy bars and fruit are provided for snacks each day. We can accommodate people with special dietary needs.
