Traffex Engineers integrates the expertise of traffic operations, transportation planning and traffic safety to develop policy and management solutions collaboratively.

In addition to providing consulting services to a number of local agencies, Nazir is also an instructor for the Institute of Transportation Studies at UC Berkeley for “Fundamentals of Traffic Engineering”, “Access Management and Site Design” and “Roundabout Design” Nazir also prepares Traffic Safety Evaluations for local agencies on behalf of the Institute of Transportation Studies which are sponsored by the Office of traffic Safety. Nazir also presents over 15 web seminars on a variety of topics for the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Traffex Engineers is managed by Nazir Lalani, President of the company, who offers over thirty years experience in public and private sector transportation planning and traffic engineering. Nazir obtained his Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Exeter, Devon, England and Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University. He is currently a licensed Engineer in the states of Colorado and California. Until June of 2009, Nazir was the Deputy Director with the Transportation Department of Ventura County. Nazir began his career with the Greater London Council in England. In 1985, Nazir move to California where he has held the position of Transportation Manager for the City of San Buenaventura before moving to the Ventura County Transportation Department in 1999.
