Friends of that local community visited the meeting as well. Making up the full house crowds were a large number of the local members. Local minister, Tim Burroughs, "praised the extra number of local brethren attending each service this time." The sermon choices seemed to have helped many who were outspoken of their listening. May God bless the effort and bring much fruit in the days ahead. -0- 10.6.10....Another outstanding crowd which rivaled 20 0r 30 more than Sunday morning's crowd of 133. Thanks to the Batesville brethren who brought the bus reasonably filled tonight to encourage the meeting so much. Thanks, again. Others came from Tunica, Nesbit, Senatobia, Courtland, Memphis, Thyatira and Independence as well as the Looxahoma area. Thank you. WEDNESDAY night's sermon is 'Who Am I?" Basic Question of the Faith. Come and be with us.... -0- What another outstanding crowd at the Looxahoma meeting; vistors from Senatobia as well as the Crockett congregations were present. Moas of the local brethren attended as well. What a well received sermon tonight as well, "Why Obey Jesus?" (Acts 10:6). TUESDAY night is 'How To Understand God's Word' (Mt. 28:18-20). -0- Everything seemed to have gone well on Sunday (10/3). The Rushmores were well received and the meeting of Robert at Looxahoma was well attended (133) and received. From what I hear someone from Batesville and/Charleston will be visiting with us each night of the week (4th -7th) at 7:00. The brethren will be encouraged as well as I. Thank you all. Zane's visit and sermon on the 17th are anticipated; by the brethren to see the growth and by the young preacher to thank the brethren for their encouragement toward the growth. I'll be there, Lord willing, to do whatever I can. The meeting w/ Bro. Dan will be upcoming on the 24th through the 28th.
