Since its beginning in 1939 as a small ready mix operation in Beaumont, TX, Transit Mix Concrete and Materials has grown to be one of the largest concrete and materials suppliers in Texas, Louisiana, and now Arkansas. To date Transit Mix has some 70 ready mix concrete plants, as well as several portable concrete plant facilities.By recently creating its new Trinity Aggregate Distribution Division, Transit Mix is becoming a major player in the material distribution industry. Trinity Aggregate Distribution is currently operating 6 locations.While always striving to be an industry leader, Transit Mix Concrete has successfully developed and marketed Smoothcrete® concrete. Taking advantage of industry advancements, Transit Mix has developed the Smoothcrete® line of products that greatly enhances the ease with which to finish concrete, significantly reduces the maintenance of finishing and placing equipment and makes the contruction project more profitable.
