Personal Profile Tim Athey, Ph.D. Tim Athey is the President of Transition Leadership Incorporated His professional experience includes ten years as an independent Coach and Consultant, eight years as an internal consultant with Hewlett-Packard Company, and ten years in the Community Psychology and Counseling field. Tim brings a pragmatic but creative approach to his executive coaching and consulting work that balances personal learning with broader organizational and strategic considerations. He specializes in coaching executives and teams on strategic alignment, culture change, and individual leadership vision and impact. Tim is especially effective working with managers and executives faced with the challenges of leading significant organizational change efforts and establishing the leadership skills and self confidence required for success. Tim is a seasoned Executive Coach and Consultant accustomed to working in a diverse international business environment with people at all levels of the organization. He has a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and is an Affiliate Professor at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.
