During this period she has been involved in a variety of professions from long term care nursing for 15 years, senior housing placement professional and marketing consultant for senior housing. She also has consulting experience in home health, companion care and hospice. April prides herself in helping business owners with start up projects and challenging census issues.

Aside from geriatric long term care nursing, April has been directly involved in a variety of senior housing from active independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, long term care and hospice.

April Reno has also founded, owned and operated 3 assisted livings in Colorado. She currently continues to have ownership with an independent and assisted living community in Curtis, Nebraska. The location was founded by April and other owners more than 10 years ago. The location is thriving and providing needed services to older adults and their families in rural Nebraska.
