Trenwick Group Ltd.

Description

On August 20, 2003, Trenwick America Corporation ("TAC"), filed for protection under chapter 11 of title 11 of the United States Code (the "Bankruptcy Code") with the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the "U.S. Bankruptcy Court"). Pursuant to the Second Amended Plan of Reorganization for Trenwick America Corporation under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code dated October 26, 2004 (as amended, supplemented or otherwise modified from time to time, the "Bankruptcy Plan"), which was confirmed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court by Order dated October 27, 2004, and which became effective on August 15, 2005, TAC was reorganized and succeeded by Trenwick America LLC, a new Delaware limited liability company (“New TAC”).
