Triad Spectrum, Inc. was established in 1995 and from the beginning was a company committed to total customer satisfaction through product excellence. The TurboCATS product line began with the introduction of the M2000 tester in 1996.At that time the memory module market was based on EDO and Fast Page mode technology. It soon became apparent to the founders that a technology called SDRAM was rapidly emerging as the preferred source for modules in the PC market. In addition to a new technology emerging, what also became obvious to the technical staff at Triad Spectrum was that there was no medium range tester that could test this technology at the true speed of the PC operating bus. With this in mind, the engineers began designing a test system that was not only superior to anything in its class, but also very affordable. In 1998 TurboCATS I was introduced to the marketplace along with its brother, the TurboCATS II tester. Since then Triad Spectrum has emerged as the fastest growing memory tester company in its class. The 133 MHz "at speed" test systems have become recognized as one of the highest performing yet most affordable systems in the market today.Today DDR2 is moving to the forefront of the memory arena. Triad Spectrum has developed a high performance yet cost-effective system that will test at true bus speed from 400MHz to 700MHz with 800MHz testing available in Q1 of 2006. In addition to the mainstream products Triad Spectrrum also does custom designs for many of the large semiconductor suppliers as well.
