Dr. Dickson began his professional career as a Clinical Psychologist in Illinois. After six years he moved to Reno, Nevada to establish a network of rural mental health clinics. When these clinics were established and functioning, Dr. Dickson became Commissioner of Mental Health and Mental Retardation for the State of Nevada.Dr. Dickson left his State position to establish a private practice focusing on Clinical Psychology, Management Consultation and Forensic Psychology. Later, he and Dr. Daniel Dugan established a new corporation devoted solely to Forensic Psychology known as Trial Science, Inc.His private practice in Reno has always included consultation in forensic and organizational issues. He consistently utilizes scientific strategies in his work with individuals, teams, students and in the courts. He has conducted training seminars for judges and attorneys on a wide range of psychological applications in the legal system.
