Triangle Well Drilling was founded over 50 years ago by Weston Dawson. He worked in the water well industry as a leader and as a Northern California Ground Water Association Recognized Professional of the Year in 1983, an honor not yet received by anyone else in El Dorado County. In those days we drilled with cable tool drill rigs, slowly but surely. As time went on his sons saw the future of water well drilling change from impact to air rotary. Weston ’s eldest son, Wayne Dawson, saw the change as an opportunity to jump into the new technology for drilling. Wayne grew the business from one cable tool, to three air rotary drill rigs, added pump installation and repair along with a pump hoist for deeper well pump setting and repair, and three service trucks to serve his clients. Today, Wayne and his son Scott Dawson share in the responsibility of servicing their clients with three air rotary drill rigs, three drill trucks, two pump hoists, and four pump service trucks, Triangle now offers the addition of holding tank system installation, filtration installation and service as well as complete system design. We boast a 100% factory trained staff for our pump technicians and service technicians. Our average well drill technician has been in the trade for 7 years making knowledge of the rock formations and fractures in our area paramount. We have been a family owned and operated business for three generations and over 50 years. We take pride in offering our customers top of the line water products, from the original well construction to the whole house filter.
