Description
This role will work with Corporate Business Development and Federal Teams to develop strategic initiatives related to the Federal sector, market new Federal business, and grow existing Federal business. This position will also include a significant role in the proposal process relative to Federal opportunities. Applicants must have a BS in Engineering or Geology, have at least 15 years of experience managing environmental and federal projects, and have proven business development skills.
Duties will include environmental media sampling, oversight of and interaction with contractors, data collection, and remediation system operation & maintenance (O&M) activities. Other duties include equipment/machine maintenance and manual labor involving lifting up to 50lbs, trench digging, and general construction activities. A competent understanding of pumping, and mechanical systems, experience in the safe use of power and hand tools, and an attention to detail is required. This position will require working outdoors and some travel.
Applicants must have an interest and experience in marketing new clients and business development. Business Development duties will involve identifying, evaluating, and developing new business opportunities with existing and potential clients. This role will work with the Corporate Business Development Team and Management to interact and market new clients, grow business, and prepare proposals.
