As baptized children of God, we are called and gathered: In Christ to worship, pray, study, and live in fellowship. With Christ to welcome, care for, and grow disciples. Through Christ, to serve and invite others to share in God's grace.In 1974, Trinity was organized under the leadership of Rev. Donald Hanberry after visiting approximately 5,000 homes door-to-door. The original charter was signed by 218 members. At the time, Trinity was the largest organizing congregation of the Southeastern Synod of the Lutheran Church in America. Rev. Hanberry served as pastor until 1987.Today Trinity is served by Rev. Dale Sillik (1987) and Rev. Jill Henning (1995). Trinity established a Pre-school 25 years ago and expanded to include a "Before and After School" care program, TLC 4 Kids. Trinity has assisted in starting two other Gwinnett County churches; Christ the Lord in Lawrenceville and Community of Grace in Grayson. Trinity is a founding member of the Southeast Gwinnett Co-op and a member of the Lilburn Co-op ministries.
