About Trojan Florist & Gifts Trojan Florist has been in business for over 30 years. It was founded by Harriet Shook in the late 1960's. Mrs. Shook located the florist in the Historic District of Downtown Troy where it is still located. The Florist was purchased in 1983 by Ray Harellson. Ray has continued and expanded the service, quality and uniqueness of the products and designs Mrs. Shook demanded more than 30 years ago.
