Tru-Check has been a leader in providing water, gas and electric services for investor-owned utilities (IOUs), cooperatives and municipalities for over 19 years. We have grown to be recognized as an industry leader in partnering with our utility customers to insure success with Smart Meter/Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) projects. We have successfully deployed, maintained and assisted our partners in all aspects of smart meter implementations while maintaining safety, quality and production principles.

Tru-Check, Inc. was formed in 1993 with partners combining over 13 years experience in providing contract meter services. Clients include municipal, investor-owned and rural utilities. Through quality workmanship and word-of-mouth advertising, our reputation spread. Now celebrating our 19th year, Tru-Check continues to offer utilities an expanded menu of contract meter solutions.

Tru-Check began operations in 1993 by providing a variety of meter services to gas, water and electric utility partners. The company has grown to read more than 2.5 million meters monthly for utilities ranging in size from 5,000 customers to 1.6 million customers across the nation.

Safety is the cornerstone of Tru-Check's values and is fundamental to the success of our company and the projects our customers entrust to us.

Safety is priority #1. We utilize many in-house safety training programs and incentives, but we also welcome additional input from our utility partners' safety and training coordinators. We provide PPE equipment to all of our employees. This equipment includes but is not limited to: FR clothing, hardhats with safety face shields, rubber electrical gloves with leather protectors, voltage testers and insulated tools.
