Its strategic geographical location, wooded terrain, lakes and park system continue to attract new residents and businesses. Businesses also benefit from a city-operated bus system, Plymouth Metrolink. Metrolink has the advantage of being tailored to meet the needs of Plymouth businesses and residents as well as being integrated with regional service offered by Metro Transit.

The Meadowbrook Collaborative was established in 1993 to address quality of life issues in the Meadowbrook neighborhood of St. Louis Park. Today, Meadowbrook’s programming offers services in the areas of health, safety and education to the neighborhood’s 1,200 residents. This programming includes academic support for students of all ages, service learning, crime prevention activities, mentoring and leadership skills. Activities promote family stability and prepare youth to take a leadership role in an effort to create systemic change in the Meadowbrook neighborhood and beyond.

“To help with our transition to our new office in Hopkins, I called on other TwinWest members for almost everything we needed. It began with Jim LaBreche at BNC National Bank, who was committed to getting us a mortgage to start the whole process (we also transferred all of our business accounts and equity lines over there). Then I called: Nate Zoellner and Tom Coffey from TDS Metrocom to set us up with phone service; General Office Products for our office furniture; Local Motion for moving; Sunrise Painting & Wallcovering for painting; Jamie Kline at FastSigns to do our signage; and Ellie Bathe and Carol Smith with High Five to talk about promotional items for our open house/ribbon cutting.
