Twin Lakes Community is dedicated to providing a comprehensive, committed approach to Wellness and commits significant investments to deliver the tools necessary for our residents to achieve individual successful aging. Wellness at Twin Lakes is defined as a balance of eight dimensions of lifestyle factors that cumulatively create a resilient, contented quality of life for our residents. Twin Lakes is focused and devoted to providing life-enhancing opportunities in all eight dimensions: Physical, Nutritional, Intellectual, Spiritual, Emotional, Social, Community, and Environmental.

The Harbor at Twin Lakes Community is a state-certified specialized Adult Day Care program for adults living with dementia. This program is dedicated to providing these seniors with a fun, meaningful, and engaging day of activities while affording the caregiver respite from caregiving duties.

Twin Lakes Community began as a legacy of the family of Wade G. and Agnes Coble. As members of Macedonia Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Cobles left a bequest of $3.5 million to the church to establish health services for the elderly in Alamance County. As Twin Lakes has grown our mission and vision have stayed the same: to provide excellent and compassionate service.
