In 1997, when we left the Brothers, many of the employees came with us. We currently have a total of 16 employees. Many have been in the concrete business for 20 years. We now have a third generation of Duckworths working in the business. Everyone at our firm is dedicated to provide quality service to all of our customers. Our customers include local residential homeowners, residential builders, and local commercial contractors.
Our entire group of employees have a vast amount of experience in both poured walls and concrete flat work. This is very helpful when we are providing our customers with an entire concrete package.
One more bit of information; since we began in 1978, in the Calhoun County area, no less than 23 concrete construction companies have come and gone. Most did not last five years. A percentage of our business is replacing their inferior work. Of those in the concrete business in 1978 we are the only company still standing. The rest are gone. Enough said.
We have expanded our offerings to include a full line of Decorative Concrete. For the customers who are looking for "something special" we can install decorative concrete in a variety of patterns and colors. After taking the required training, our crews (and management) are "Certified Installers" of this wonderful product. We studied many different product lines available and feel we have chosen the best one to offer our customers. Decorative Concrete is less expensive than properly installed brick pavers, looks great, and lasts much longer.
Our highly experienced work crew has a tremendous amount of experience pouring and finishing concrete flat work. Many of our finishers are certified by the American Concrete Institute and the Increte Company for decorative concrete. We can provide you with the peace of mind that your finished project will meet or exceed your expectations. Our company regularly gets called to complete jobs that are very difficult. Jobs that, due to their difficult nature, others will not even look at.
