Welcome to U.S. Structures, Inc. , a South Florida based structural engineering firm. Our services include structural analysis, design, and preparation of construction documents, construction administration and inspection for new construction, additions, repairs and renovations. In addition, we provide threshold and special inspection services, structural evaluation of existing buildings, structural feasibility studies, structural re-certification and forensic engineering.
U.S. Structures also has the unique opportunity to provide engineering services for historic structures. Mr. Toledo has extensive experience with the reconstruction and restoration of numerous historic structures throughout the State of Florida, including the Biltmore Hotel, Matheson Hammock Park, Miracle Theater, Athens Theater, Virrick Gym, Deering Estate and Halissee Hall, along with numerous residences in Coral Gables and the Town of Palm Beach. This experience enables us to appreciate the sensitivity and complexity of your projects.
USSI provides Special Inspection services for Threshold Buildings in compliance with Section 109.3.6 for the Florida Building Code. Our inspection team consists of engineers with construction management backgrounds. Our inspectors have extensive experience and knowledge of local construction practices and requirements. Our experience includes the inspection of shoring and re-shoring plans; installation of reinforcement; placement of concrete; installation of reinforced masonry; etc.
U.S. Structures, Inc. has the unique opportunity to provide engineering services for historic structures. Along with Mr. Toledo, USSI has extensive experience with the reconstruction and restoration of numerous historic structures throughout the State of Florida. Our most notable work includes the restoration of the tower for the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, completed in 2005. The Biltmore Hotel has since entrusted USSI to continue with the restoration of the complete hotel property commencing in 2006.
