When I was deciding if I was going to purchase an Xbox 360, there was the obvious question of what games would separate the 360 and the PS3. There are several full retail releases that are not exclusive and have feature parity on both systems. Most disc based games released on the 360 have already been played on my PS3. Sure, there are some disc-based titles that interest me, but was it really worth it to purchase a whole new system?My interest then turned to the Xbox Live Arcade. Looking through the list of games available to download, I was amazed. Even with the new industry standard of charging $15 per downloadable game, these are relatively cheap compared to the $60 for disc-based games that might offer less in terms of content. With the current economic climate, these titles seem like no-brainers for anyone looking for quality content on the cheap. I began creating a list and found no less than 20 titles that peaked my interest.At the top of the list, however, are The Maw and ‘Splosion Man by Twisted Pixel. Both feature unique concepts and a sense of humor that is hard to find in other games. So, when I saw the first trailer for their next game, Comic Jumper, last year at PAX, I knew that I would want to play it.
