Uncommon Grounds is a gourmet coffee and bagel shop established in 1992. Our first location opened in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. in 1992 followed by a store in Albany, N.Y. in 1997. Over the years we have grown from a quiet, single-person operation to the bustling, full-service empire we are now. Each store features slight variations on different themes, but both are built on the cornerstones of our fresh roasted coffee and homemade bagels . On any given day one can witness a variety of customers flowing through the line for one of our specialty brews of the day , to grab a quick bite to eat or to sit down for a lunch with visiting family.
