Ms Brownell joined Unigen in 2007, she has extensive experience in clinical research, laboratory science, regulatory and healthcare management developed in multiple pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic and healthcare companies. Her experience in involving Good Clinical Practices (GCP) regulations and compliance supports Unigen’s clinical trials and regulatory filings.

Dr. Ma has extensive experience in quality control and quality assurance management developed in multiple pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. She has a strong background in the areas of analytical and natural product chemistry. Her proven experience involving Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) regulations and compliance supports Unigen in establishing and maintaining a higher level of quality standards and systems in the dietary supplement industry.

Dr. Niederkorn joined Unigen in 2013 as Chief Business Officer to lead the strategy, business development, sales and marketing functions. He is driving the top line growth of the company through strategic customer relationships based on well-defined strategies for the natural product businesses. Dr. Niederkorn earned his doctorate in Chemical Engineering at Northwestern University. He lead the research area of complex fluid based systems and the application of non-linear dynamic systems theory. He has over 21 years of experience in consumer and natural products spanning R&D leadership, strategy development and P&L responsibility. Prior to joining Unigen, Dr. Niederkorn worked for Cargill where he jointly held the leadership positions for both the R&D and commercial organizations in the specialty food ingredients business. Dr. Niederkorn has also worked for Givaudan, the world’s leader in naturally based flavoring ingredients and started his career with the Procter & Gamble Company.
