This documentation is directed to people and companies who desire to start transacting EDI, or existing EDI users who want to take a look at changing their existing EDI Service Bureau to another. Those wishing to outsource some or all of their EDI operations will be interested in this as well. If you are a corporate executive interested in getting a basic, general overview of EDI and how it can help your company, this document is for you. This document is primarily focused towards small to medium sized manufacturers or suppliers of goods to large retail outlets. We say small to medium because large companies (500+ employees) are usually already doing EDI, and have their own in house EDI staff.
