Welcome to University Child Development Center (UCDC)! We proudly serve the needs of Charlotte-area children and parents through our network of top rated child development centers. We are a five star rated, family owned and operated business, providing high-quality services since 1988. We operate three centers in the Charlotte, NC area. We pride ourselves on the capabilities and extensive experience of our staff, our customized curriculum, and the achievements of the little scholars that matriculate through our programs.

We believe in our instructors. Many of them have been with us for over 20 years, and their experience and expertise in our field is extremely valuable. When it comes to education, we believe that these kinds of teachers are the absolute best.

We provide activities that will encourage broader thinking skills, listening-comprehension, writing, speaking, and reading. These essential skills are key for learning and interaction.

Each class plans time for free play, physical (gross motor) activities, teacher directed activities, group activities (circle time) and rest time. We provide exposure to Spanish, music, and computers.
