Born and raised in Los Angeles, Frank attended the University of California, Berkley and graduated with a degree in History in 1970. After moving to Oregon with his wife, Lauren, Frank decided against his original plan of law school and instead pursued the industry in which he had spent his summers working and had grown to love; he and several partners formed their own construction company, Upper Valley Builders. Since 1977, UVB has been dedicated to bringing craftsmanship and reliability to its projects. In addition to managing the business, Frank enjoys cooking, mountain biking, skiing, surfing and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
